XReach solution is a customizable remote support platform consisting of a variety of productivity features for technical customer support, intelligent maintenance, inspection, installation and training. Field workers use XReach mainly on mobile devices (iOS, Android) and experts use a web browser or mobile devices. Now XReach hardware support has been expanded and the solution also works with RealWear HMT-1 smart glasses. This allows field workers to work completely hands free.

XReach solution is based on live video-assisted remote support, allowing the expert to see everything the field worker sees on site from their own device. The solution can also be used in customer support, so that the support provider can see what the customer sees. Experts can instruct a field worker / customer through speech, chat, annotations and shared documents. The data collected during the connection is automatically stored in the cloud, making it easy to share or utilize later.
RealWear HMT-1 smart glasses further enhance the business benefits of XReach. With smart glasses, the field worker / customer is able to work completely hands-free, which makes work more efficient when there is no need to hold a mobile device with one hand.
Instructions sent by the expert come directly into the field worker’s / customer´s field of vision via smart glasses. Hands-free guidance makes working faster. If a similar previously resolved case is found in the XReach´s database, the field worker / customer may not even need to contact an expert. He / she can solve the problem using a previously resolved case. Work quality is also improved when the field worker / customer is able to follow virtual step-by-step work instructions with smart glasses. Work safety is also improved when a field worker / customer does not have to blink elsewhere at the same time.

RealWear HMT-1 smart glasses is a 100% hands-free solution for industrial and business use. RealWear HMT-1 smart glasses are designed for professional indoor and outdoor use and have an IP66 rating (dust / water resistant). Smart glasses are ideal for supporting equipment maintenance, inspection and assembly work, for example. RealWear HMT-1 smart glasses operate with voice commands and also detect head movements.
